A day spent exploring the historical and viticultural treasures of Attica. Just 40 minutes from central Athens, we will begin our journey along the legendary Marathon route, retracing the footsteps of ancient warriors. Our first stop is the archaeological site of the Battle of Marathon, where you will visit the Marathon Tomb (Tymvos) and the Marathon Museum, immersing yourself in the story of one of the most pivotal battles in world history.
We will then enjoy a short stop at the serene Marathon Lake, one of Attica’s most scenic spots. Surrounded by pine forests and rolling hills, the lake offers the perfect backdrop for a peaceful stroll, a moment of reflection, and panoramic photos.
Afterwards, we will head to Attica’s most premium wine estate, nestled among the vineyards of Northern Attica. There, you will enjoy an exclusive tour of the vineyards, winemaking facilities, Atticas largest wine museum and aging cellars, followed by a guided tasting of at least 5 premium wines, including native varieties and exceptional blends of international grapes.
